Who Would You Like to See Leading the 4th of July Parade?
Nominations are now closed for the 2018 Parade Marshal for this year’s big Independence Day celebration that will be held on July 4th downtown Phelps. And we are so excited to see such amazing community members as nominees this year!

The day’s festivities will start at 3 pm on Wednesday, July 4th with a grand parade through the downtown. Any interested individuals, businesses, clubs, or organizations are encouraged to participate. Hundreds of people line the sidewalks, eager to see all of the creative floats.
Following the parade, a whole slew of fun will take play downtown on the shore of North Twin Lake. Enjoy live music starting at 4 pm, with the musical talents of Scott Kirby, followed by the rhythm and blues of Jake & The Fireside Band. Enjoy a hot dog, brat, or burger while watching the kids play on the inflatables and enjoy the kids races on the lake shore. Sign up for the pie eating contest and take a swing at the dunk tank.
All good things must come to an end, but there is no ending quite as spectacular as the fireworks over North Twin Lake for the Phelps 4th of July celebration! See the brilliant colors reflecting back from the water from the shore or by boat. This is one fireworks display that you don’t want to miss!
