Save the Date for the 6th Annual Phelps Maple Syrup Fest

Join us for the 6th Annual Maple Syrup Fest in Northern Wisconsin!

Think ahead to spring and save the date for the next Maple Syrup Fest in Phelps, Wisconsin! The 2017 event will take place on April 1st from 8 am to 4 pm at the Phelps School.

This year will again feature guided bus tours to 4+ loal sugar bushes to see how syrup is produced , tree-tapping demonstrations, the popular Maple Café, syrup judging contest and more. Try your hand at maple taffy in the snow, or sit with the children making maple art projects. This growing event attracts over 2,000 people to Phelps and is a great way to satisfy that cabin fever after the winter months.

And all-new for 2017 – Maple Syrup Fest will be featuring honey! Visitors will have the chance to learn even more about the maple syrup process and the history of producing this natural sweetener in Wisconsin, as well as about how honey is produced in our area.

The Arts & Crafts fair in 2016 featured over 70 vendors, selling everything from handcrafted quilts to unique wine jellies and more. Those interested in becoming a vendor for the event should contact the Phelps Chamber as soon as possible as spaces fill up quickly!
