The Phelps Chamber of Commerce is once again selling maple syrup from area producers to benefit the Phelps Maple Syrup Fest scholarship fund. The Chamber has three of sizes of syrup available including ½ pint, 1 pint and 1 quart. Syrup can be purchased for carry out at the Phelps Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Center or online at https://phelps-wisconsin.square.site/.
Amy Thomason, Director of the Phelps Chamber of Commerce said, “Each year we are excited to award an area senior with a scholarship to help them continue their education. Our area syrup producers generously give $1 from each syrup sale to the scholarship fund. This year without our annual Phelps Maple Syrup Fest we are behind on our syrup sales goals so we are thrilled to be able to offer syrup from the visitors center or through our online store”.
The Visitors Center is currently open by appointment only so if you are interested in making a purchase give them a call at 715-545-3800 to make an appointment to stop by. Be sure to mark your calendars for the 2021 Phelps Maple Syrup Fest on Saturday April 10th, 2021.
