Maple Syrup Fest Seeking Sponsors & Volunteers

Get Involved with Phelps Maple Syrup Fest!

Planning for the 7th Annual Maple Syrup Fest in Phelps is well underway. The event has grown from a simple bus tour of local sugar bushes in 2012 to a full day of activities and fun that attracts over 3500 people. In addition to the continuation of the sugar bush tours, the day includes tree tapping demonstrations, a syrup judging contest, a thriving arts and crafts fair, children’s activities, the Maple Cafe, and much, much more. And the Phelps Chamber and Maple Syrup Fest Committee are proud to now be able to provide scholarships for local youth from a portion of the day’s proceeds.

The committee invites local businesses to consider becoming a sponsor for this growing event or volunteering a few hours on April 7th. Sponsors receive recognition online, during the event, and through local media. Volunteers are needed for a variety of two to three hour shifts and receive a free meal and a discount on Chamber membership dues. Even more importantly, sponsors and volunteers have the chance to be a part of an event that celebrates Wisconsin heritage and attracts visitors to our area during a slow travel time. For more information, please contact Celeste at the Phelps Chamber at 715-545-3800 or visit www.Phelpswi.us/Maple-syrup-fest.

We hope to see you in Phelps on April 7th!
