Register Today for the Don Gillum Memorial Bike – Hike Event

This event will take place at the Conover Community Park, 4679 Park Circle in Conover WI, on Saturday, July 20th, 2019. Check in and On-Site registration will take place from 8:00 to 8:45 am, with the opening ceremony at 8:45 am. The bike/hike will begin at 9:15 am.

Register by June 25th for $35 for adults and $20 for under 18. After June 25th, registration is $40 for adults and $25 for under 18. Ages 5 and under are free. Registration includes the bike/hike, an event t-shirt, goodie bag, a ticket for Trek Youth Bike Drawing, snacks, and lunch. Remembering Don Gillum

Don Gillum died in December of 2016 after battling cancer for 13 years. From his youth surfing in California to his outdoor life in the Northwoods, Don valued being active. As a volunteer for Great Headwaters Trail, he worked to make biking and hiking more accessible and safe for people of all ages. We invite you to enjoy a Ride or Hike on the first trail that Don helped GHT get built, the Conover-Phelps Trail. The trail is now 9 miles long with 2 miles remaining to be funded and built.

Proceeds from this event will support the American Cancer Society’s Patient-Family Outreach Services/Relay for Life of the Northwoods and help complete the Conover-Phelps Trail.
