Discover the Rewards of Volunteering for Local Events!

Do You Love Phelps Events? Get Involved!

Phelps Maple Syrup Fest VolunteersThe Phelps Chamber of Commerce is proud to host fun events like the recent Maple Syrup Fest, which was a great success and enjoyed by over 2,500 attendees this year. Volunteers play a very big role in making events such as this a possibility, and we give a big round of applause for those that pitched in on Maple Syrup Fest!. Participating with a local event as a volunteer can be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for anyone. Even just pitching in for a few hours gives a big sense of accomplishment and makes a huge difference in the success of the day!

It’s such a neat feeling to come to the end of the day, look back at a successful event and realize “I had a part in that”. Volunteering is also a great way to meet new people and make new friends because the team work that events take creates a unique bond. If you are a business owner or involved with a local organization, this can give you the chance to increase exposure and show the public that your business is committed to the community.

We are currently seeking individuals that are interested in supporting the local community by volunteering for event planning, coordination and execution. Whether you have a free hour or a free month, we could use your help! Some areas require more work or time than others, so look for the opportunity that is best suited to your tastes and abilities. There is no such thing as ‘too young’ or ‘too old’; we welcome everyone!

Here are some areas where you could get involved:
