The Phelps Area Volunteer Fire Department has been proudly providing emergency services to the community of Phelps and surrounding areas since 1959. The dedicated department members undergo various training and skill building exercises throughout the year to be able to provide the most effective and responsive emergency services to help keep our neighbors healthy and safe. Support your local fire department by joining us for one of our annual fundraisers, including the Fireman’s Picnic & Pig Roast in August and the Prime Rib Dinner Fundraiser in October.
