Art Scholarships Available

MANITO ART LEAGUE ANNOUNCES 2017 FINE ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS AND ADULTS

The Manito Art League is seeking applicants who are interested in financial aid for tuition toward an art workshop, class, college course or program in the fine arts.  Scholarships are available to anyone living within or attending an accredited school within a 70-mile radius of Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, including Michigan.  Applicants must be a graduating senior, a college student, or a person interested in any of the fine arts.  Scholarships, including the yearly $500 Florence Daniels Scholarship, vary depending on the patron donations from the previous year and the number of applicants.

The Manito Art League is also seeking applications for The Rutherford/Raedeke Memorial Scholarship in the Arts, a $500 scholarship awarded towards tuition only, to a Wisconsin resident, majoring in fine arts.

The Polly H. Ullrich Scholarship for Early Career Artists, a yearly scholarship in the amount of $2000 funded in memory of Polly H. Ullrich, will be awarded towards tuition and related expenses at an accredited college or university, not-for-profit, public or private, or professional school.  This scholarship will be awarded to anyone under 30 years of age living within a 70-mile radius of Manitowish Waters, seeking to be an early career artist.

Adult Workshop/Class Scholarships will be awarded to adult applicants over 18 who are interested in enriching their knowledge in the arts.  Some monetary aid towards tuition for courses or workshops will be given.
