Breakfast for a Cause…With Santa!
All ages are welcome…come join us for a winter breakfast fundraiser and a visit with Santa. This fundraiser is being organized by Colin Crawford’s Guide Service and Phelps Outdoors, with the assistance of the Phelps School Student Council for the benefit of The Warm the Children Fund.
The breakfast will be held at the Phelps School commons on Saturday, December 3rd from 8-11 am. The meal choices are scrambled eggs, pancakes or combo. All meals include sausage links and a beverage choice of milk or coffee. Advance tickets are $5 for either scrambled eggs or pancakes and $7 for a combo. All tickets at the door will be $10 and are subject to food availability. Advance tickets are preferred to enable a calculation of food quantity necessary for the event.
Bake Sale & Raffles at the Phelps School
In addition to the breakfast, there will be lots of delicious homemade bake sale items available for purchase. There will be a raffle drawing for filled stockings. You can bring in a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Headwaters Food Pantry and receive a free entry in the drawing. There is no limit to the amount of free entries; every food item will be redeemed for an entry. Raffle tickets may also be purchased at the breakfast for the filled stocking drawing.
Pictures with Santa
Everyone who visits with Santa will receive something from Santa. The visit with Santa is a great photo opportunity for family photos. We have a beautiful woodland photo backdrop. Photos can be done with your camera or we can take a photo and instantly email it to you. It is requested that all photos are done by donation, regardless of your camera or ours, as it is a fundraiser.
There will be letters to Santa and other activities for everyone. This event is for both the young and the young at heart. Tickets can be purchased from the Phelps School office, Phelps School Student Council students or from any of these local businesses that will have tickets available: Phelps Convenience Center, Northern Exposure, Sand Lake Pub, Great Escape, or the Village Barber.
Baked Goods Donations Requested
Baked goods are needed for the Warm the Children breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, December 3. The goodies can be dropped off at either the Village Barber in Phelps or at the Phelps School office. Items can be dropped off at the Village Barber (12/1 or 12/2 from 9-11:30am/1-5pm) or at the Phelps School office (12/1 or 12/2 from 7:30am-3pm). Additionally, baked goods can be dropped off at the Phelps School commons on 12/3 from 6:30am-8am).
