Explosively Fun 4th of July Super Celebration in Phelps!

Are you looking for a place to celebrate the 4th of July with a bang? Look no further! The Phelps 4th of July Celebration is an all-out extravaganza that lasts all day long and takes place right on the beautiful shore of North Twin Lake in downtown Phelps!

Join us in Phelps on Sunday, July 2nd to enjoy a truly spectacular event as Phelps celebrates Independence Day in fabulous small town style. We all look forward to the big fireworks bang come dusk, but after a 4th of July in Phelps, you may have a hard time picking your favorite part of the day!

Enjoy a Fantastic Small Town Parade and Activities For All Ages!

The Phelps 4th of July festivities kick off with a lively and fun-filled parade starting at 3:00 and running right through the main street of this picture-perfect town. You never know what imaginative floats and colorful characters you might see in the Phelps parade! Children love the treats they collect, and might even by surprised by a clown appearance! Download your 2017 Parade Float Application here and return to the Phelps Chamber office.

Concessions will be served throughout the day, right up until the fireworks, including hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, popcorn, and soda. The children will have a ball participating in a variety of  activities and contests, including bouncy inflatables! Don’t miss the pie eating contest, with Phelps – Land O’Lakes Lions as our favorite contest judges!

Kids races include all sorts of fun like sack races, egg and spoon runs, and water balloon tosses. Be sure
to take aim at the dunk tank for a chance to soak local town celebrities. And don’t forget to grab your Chicken Drop raffle tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets for a chance to win big bucks!

Phenomenal 4th of July Fireworks in Phelps!

Finish off this amazing 4th of July celebration with oohs and aahs as the Phelps Fire Department puts on their phenomenal fireworks show, the best in the Northwoods! Watch the colorful fireworks from the comfort of your boat or grab your lawn chairs and blankets and cozy up with loved ones on the shore. You can’t ask for a better background for a dazzling pyrotechnic display than the natural beauty of North Twin Lake, or a better ending to a fun 4th of July celebration!

    My family and I just love your fireworks. We’ve been watching them for a very long time. We have a cabin not that far from phelps. Keep up the great job!!

      Shelley, we are so glad to hear that you enjoy our celebration! This year is going to be extra special with the largest legal firework in Wisconsin as part of the display. There are only a few of these sold in the state so we are pumped to have one. Be sure to stop downtown to check out the music and the rest of the festivities! ~ Celeste
