Conover special eventThe event, “A Ride in the Park” is a celebration of our local trails and will include a ribbon-cutting for the town’s new biking and walking trail and information booths on Conover’s wide range of recreational offerings.

A Ride in the Park will also feature children’s games, raffles including a 50/50 raffle, food and drink, and a prize for the first 50 people who try out the new bike-ped trail.

Proceeds of ice cream float sales and the sale of special event t-shirts will be divided among the four recreational trail groups hosting the event with the towns of Conover and Phelps: Great Headwaters Trails Foundation, the Landover ATV-UTV Club, the Sno-Buddies, and Vilas County Equestrian Trails. Corporate sponsors Cedar Crest and Sprecher are providing ingredients for the ice cream floats.
