About Phelps Womens Club
Home to many wonderful clubs and organizations, Phelps is blessed by the efforts and dedication of the Phelps Womens Club. This non-profit organization has been very active in the community for over 75 years! Today, the 48 members do wonders for the beauty of our downtown, as well as providing support for several deserving causes.
The Womens Club began its journey by building and maintaining the public library for Phelps in 1934. The Club was officially founded in 1940, and has continued its commitment to the library ever since. The Club meets every 3rd Monday of the month (except March) at varying locations, with the annual dinner held in June.
